Rwanda’s Rational Land use through the Implementation of Land use Consolidation Policy, Crop Intensification and Rural settlement “Imidugudu” programs’. It will elicit perceptions of Rwandan citizens, on the implementation of the land use consolidation policy, crop intensification and “Imidugudu” programs. Rwanda Governance Scorecard 2011(RGS) this is a comprehensive governance assessment tool constructed from data generated from interviews structured around different indicators. The initiative reflects a commitment to evidence-based policies and objective self-assessment in order to identify areas for improvement and drive policy reforms
Standard Service Charters for Local Government: The standard service charter is barometer of assessing quality of service delivery. The idea of creating the Standard service charter in local government came to address the poor quality of service delivery observed in different services.
Audit of Service delivery in public and private sectors: GoR puts more efforts in improving service sector as stipulated in EDPRS and Vision 2020. To achieve this objective, it is important to assess the status of service delivery in different sectors (both private as well as public). The audit will identify gaps and challenges observed in institutions in charge of service provision. The audit will also formulate some policy recommendations of how service delivery should be improved.
Monitoring the recommendations from Rwanda Governance Scorecard 2010:
RGB committed itself to annually publish a Rwanda Governance Scorecard (RGS) which mainly aims at generating credible and reliable data on governance issues. In line with its mission of monitoring the practices of good governance in public and private institutions, RGB assess how the recommendations from the latest publication (RGS 2010) have been implemented by responsible institutions and to identify what challenges are remaining.
