In her presentation, CEO Dr. KAITESI explained to the students how Rwandans managed to escape from darkness and poverty through good governance after the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.

She said that after the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi, everything was a priority and the citizens were broken so they chose three things namely unity, reconciliation and good governance and that's where RGB started to be thought about.

The CEO also explained the mandates and the role of RGB in the development of the country through various assessments and researches conducted to evaluate the country's progress in improving governance and service delivery in Rwanda.
